Ethical standards

Aurora Perceptions Ltd abides by the ethical standards required of all accredited psychometric practitioners. These are set out by the British Psychological Society and generally provide for the following:

ethical standards Only qualified personnel to purchase, administer and interpret psychometric results
ethical standards Storage of unused materials and completed questionnaires and results to be secure
ethical standards Individual respondents to be fully advised of how results will be used and to be given the opportunity of feedback by an accredited practitioner in ALL circumstances. This feedback to be face-to-face where at all possible.
ethical standards Respondents to be advised of the limitations of psychometric tools
ethical standards To offer all respondents, where sought, the opportunity to gain insight into the theory on which questionnaires are built
ethical standards Never to photocopy or otherwise copy or adapt copyright psychometric material
ethical standards To remedy any breach of standards resulting in bad practice or copyright infringement
ethical standards To observe all laws on protection of personal data
ethical standards To review results regularly in a wider context
